Description

7 December 2009

Abstract: Five visiting WHO sponsored Fellows are visiting the Top End to learn from Australia's experiences in terms of remote health service planning and delivery. The fellows are primarily health administrators who are tasked with development of government policy with regard to service delivery to geographically isolated
disadvantaged regions within the Philippines - including remote mountainous areas and isolated islands.

Over the course of subsequent weeks, the Fellows will be visiting remote communities, educational institutions and stakeholders in health.

The Fellows will provide a seminar in which they represent the national and regional context of health service delivery in the Philippines.
