Description

1 June 2009

Abstract: In 2008, the food regulations were changed to require that salt used in bread making (except organic bread) should be iodised.  This regulation will take effect in October 2009.  This talk will describe the iodine status of the population, including the NT, and will describe the considerations that went into choosing a suitable food to fortify.
